Summary
Just as each gene of DNA finds its reflection in human characteristics, each business capability makes a unique contribution to company’s final output. Capabilities taken out of traditional, integrated organizational context can liberate hidden sources of profits. The purpose of the paper is to present theory described in publication Rebuilding The Corporate Genome and demonstrate arguments proving validity of such approach.
